FundraisingHow does the Cottage raise funds?
Without the money raised from fundraising and donations, Cottage by the Sea couldn't continue to support families who are going through difficult times.
We are a not-for-profit, self-funded, children's charity that recieves no government funding and relies entirely upon the generous support of donors, branches, volunteers, business and community groups, trusts and foundations.

Fundraising activities you can be involved in include:
- Lending a helping hand at fundraising events e.g. Annual Fair
- Donating some time to help with fundraising e.g. Christmas card sales, raffle ticket sales
- Fundraising by individuals
- Fundraising by groups
- Corporate Sponsorship
- Buying or selling merchandise
- Your organisation, club or group might like to hold a fundraiser for us (eg: charity golf day, movie night, school 'out of uniform day')
- Sponsoring a fundraising event
- Donating goods to raffle or sell
- Joining the fundraising branch nearest you
