The Cottage by the Sea Annual General Meeting will this year be held at the Queenscliff Bowling, Tennis & Croquet Club, starting at 10.30 am on Friday, 31st October.
All are welcome to come along and celebrate the achievements of 2007 The meeting will be followed by a barbecue luncheon at the Cottage, including tours of the Main Cottage, Riptide Cottage and surrounding premises. Mr Bob Eadie from The Disney Corporation will be the guest speaker this year. There will also be a special surprise DVD featuring children and staff at the Cottage.
Please contact either Queenscliff (5258 1663) or Camberwell (9813 0646) with names and numbers attending the A.G.M. and/or the barbeque luncheon afterward.

for Kids Campaign - Saturday, 13 Dec 2008 |
| This year’s
Celebrity Surf Day will again the perfect environment for our children
to surf and play at the beach with our patron, Catherine Freeman
and a host of celebrities, including surfing celebrities and AFL players. Celebrities will form teams with the Cottage children for a fun
filled surfing competition.
The event will be located at Point Lonsdale beach, but may change depending on the conditions on the day.

| Melbourne Marathon Festival - Sunday, 12 October 2008 |
Jeanette and Paul Austin, on behalf of the Lions Club of Geelong Breakfast, are entering this Marathon to raise money for Cottage by the Sea. They have been taking part in the Marathon for 6 years and have raised over $28,000. Read the explanatory note and form if you wish to assist in promoting this amongst family and friends.

Fair - Saturday, 17 Jan, 2009 |
Next year's Annual Fair
will again be held at Cottage by the Sea (29 Flinders St, Queenscliff) and adjoining Riptide Cottage
premises. Items for sale will include trash & treasures, ‘collectables’,
fresh produce at bargain prices, plants for your garden, cakes,
biscuits, jams & preserves, children’s toys galore, books
for young and old, new clothing, bargain barn * hourly tours of
the Cottage
Begin with breakfast – bacon & egg, donuts, fresh fruit-salad.
Stay for lunch– delicious barbeque.
There will be hourly tours of the Cottage and Devonshire tea with
views to the Rip.
