Melbourne Escape for Our Mentors

Our Stories

Our Mentor program caters for secondary students aged 13 to 18 whereby the Mentors experience adventure-based activities designed to develop confidence, resilience and skills while having loads of fun.

One adventure last month undertaken by a group of Mentor students involved a train ride to Melbourne to the Rush Escape Rooms. The Mentors were excited to see if they could solve the puzzles and beat the challenges to escape! Split into four teams the challenge was to try an conquer the four different escape rooms. Each room had a different theme and different puzzles/challenges to face.

Everyone had such a great time and worked together so well even though only one team escaped! The whole group couldn’t stop laughing and talking about going back with their friends to try and complete some more rooms! A trip to nearby Luna Park completed what was a great day in Melbourne before back to the Cottage in Queenscliff on the train for a relaxing night with a visit to the local bowling alley next on the agenda.
