Movie stars for the day on Take a Break

This week during our Take a Break program, there was a guest at Cottage by the Sea with a flashy camera taking snaps of the children and staff in each activity for the day.

The morning started with the photographer jumping on the fishing charter to capture the children reeling in some fish, with lots of excitement as the first fish flung onto the boat. Our photographer captured the perfect moment as the children crowded around, looking at the flathead.

She then jumped off the boat early and jetted back to Queenscliff to see the younger group boogie-boarding, riding some nice waves at Cottage beach.

Lunch came around and we all enjoyed some curry together before we were back out and about in the afternoon.

Both groups were offsite down the coast. Our photographer went along with Group 2 first to snap some shots of the children rockpooling, finding lots of crabs and sea stars.

Then it was a quick drive over to Ocean Grove Main Beach, where she threw on some waders and waded through the shallows to capture Group 1 surfing some waves. We timed it absolutely perfectly just as the group were getting the hang of surfing, standing up and riding into the shore.

It was an eventful day and we are all so excited to see the moments captured by the photographer.
