Birthday Cheer!

Here at Cottage by the Sea we love celebrating birthdays on camp. We make the day as special as we can for the child who is away from home for their birthday.

This week we had a young boy Prayas who celebrated his 10^th birthday on the first day of camp. Marc whipped up one of his specialty chocolate cakes with a thick layer of chocolate icing with hundreds and thousands sprinkled on top.

Along with a freshly baked cake comes the Cottage by the Sea present gift bag. Prayas’s smile was ear to ear when he opened his bag of goodies. His favourite toy being the stretchy superman where the arms and legs that stretch almost a metre.

The group of 40 children all sang at the top of their lungs happy birthday and the Cottage team popped streamer poppers as Prayas blew out the sparkler candles.
