Super Duper Fun Day!

Our Stories

It has been a long anticipated wait for the Super Duper Fun Park to open in Ocean Grove. This park has been on the Cottage radar for months now with some big hype behind the grand opening.

Each week after our surfing and rockpooling sessions, we always make a quick detour to see the progress of the park. This week we made a quick stop to see that the tape was removed and there were people playing on the park!

The excitement levels were high for both the children and Cottage staff! We scheduled the park play in for the Wednesday evening activity.

As soon as our dinner was finished up we all jumped on the bus for a play! With the park being newly opened it was busy, but of course we were more than happy to share.

The children had an absolute ball exploring the nature zone of the park where they could climb trees and build cubby houses. There is a huge climbing frame meters high in the air! We have to mention the super cool slide with clear windows so you can see out as you fly down.

The only down side was the giant mozzies flying about but that’s nothing a little repellent can’t fix.

The play park was a highlight for most of our campers this week, it has now been scheduled into all of our programs as a must stop play on the way home from any activity in the Ocean Grove area.
