Queenscliff Branch “High Tea with Heidi” event

On April 8, our Queenscliff Branch hosted their “High Tea with Heidi” event at Cottage by the Sea. Guests sat in the dining room overlooking a rainy day out at sea and enjoyed a delicious array of sweet and savoury delights, including Cottage’s famous scones.

Queenscliff Branch President Robyn welcomed everyone to the event. Andrew Balaam from Special Projects at Cottage shared some of the history of Cottage as well as our future development plans to support more children on our programs. Guest speaker Heidi, owner of Van Loon’s Nursery, spoke about the history of her Wallington nursery and its dedicated support of Cottage by the Sea.

There was a great buzz in the room, with lots of smiles and laughter shared. Thank you to everyone who attended the high tea to support Cottage, as well as the Queenscliff Branch and Cottage team (volunteers and staff) for organising the event. Through the combined support of everyone, the event raised $2,906.
